SILVIA SAL is a self-taught fine artist, specializing in traditional techniques like oil painting, drawing, and sketching. Life took an unexpected turn when she had to leave university to support her family’s bakery. For years, she split her time between a demanding day job in the back office of a transportation company and long nights at the bakery. Amid the whirlwind, she carved out time—between shifts, in quiet corners, and through sheer willpower—to study art. Her skills grew from sketchbook to sketchbook, evolving stroke by stroke, shaped by discipline, curiosity, and raw dedication.

Stanislav Stan arrived in Portugal as a teenager, an immigrant with an explorer’s heart. He studied languages, science, and socioeconomics before earning a degree in documentary filmmaking and a master’s in multimedia engineering. Along the way, he worked countless part-time jobs—seasonal gigs, creative projects, anything that could teach him something new. His journey took him around the world, collecting stories, experience, and perspective. But the most important adventure was when he followed his heart and met her—at a friend’s wedding.

Three years ago, together with his family, they bought an abandoned house in the northernmost corner of Portugal. Tucked in a quiet village on the border with Spain, surrounded by vineyards, wild horses, and the stunning Peneda-Gerês National Park, it was love at first sight. Remote, raw, and full of potential, the house needed work—lots of it. But it also offered a chance to finally build something of their own.

Soldac Studio is the result of that leap of faith. A place where art, media, and craftsmanship meet. A place built not just with bricks and beams, but with years of sacrifice, late nights, bold choices, and relentless passion. Here, we create—through traditional art, multimedia, photography, filmmaking, and steel fabrication. We offer not just services, but stories, shaped by hands that never gave up.
